बहुत दूर कितना दूर होता है

  वह लन्दन की गर्मी की एक शाम थी।  मैं दफ्तर से निकल रीजेन्ट्स पार्क की तरफ चल रही थी ।  मैं अक्सर शाम को  वहां जाती थी। अपने में खोयी सुर्ख लाल ढलते सूरज को निहारती चली जा रही थी।   लोग काम से घर जा रहे थे और कुछ घर से वाक के लिए निकले थे।  गर्मियों में अक्सर हिंदुस्तानी लोग यूरोप घूमने जाते हैं और लंदन तो वैसे ही आधा हिंदुस्तानी ही लगता है।  तो भारतीय मूल के लोग दिखना हैरान नहीं करता।  मैं पार्क में पहुंची ही थी की एक पेड़ के नीचे किसी को बैठे देखा, वह कुछ पढ़ रहा था।   यह पेड़ तो मेरा है !  मैं यहां हर शाम स्केचिंग करने बैठती हूँ,  आज यह कौन है ? और यह चेहरा इतना देखा भाला क्यों लग रहा है ?  मैं यह सोच ही रही थी की वो उठ के जाने लगा।  मुझे देख वो मुस्कुराया और आगे चलने लगा ।  मैंने पूछा, " बहुत दूर कितना दूर होता है ? "

The VVIP area of the Capital- New Delhi, Born and Brought up here! Once i enter this area, i feel secure in  My place, my identity... Those green surroundings a natural habitat to so many migratory birds so close to traffic, very centre of the metro yet too far from noise and pollution my place my habitat. My childhood memories, my friends, the games, the laughters, the fights, the festivals....all belong to this place, My school, my trips and my first car all began here...
