Black and White as we want to see things and not as things are. My first series of work are paintings of black ink on white paper. i have tried to sketch out the depths of characters without greys. the characters the expectations we look upto. tday i feel as if am entering a phase of trance...recalling sm beautiful, sm very beautiful and sm not so beautiful memories from all the yrs gone by....playing all the songs i used to hear and those i hvn't played since ages...the photos i haven't seen...the diaries i hv closed and kept in the closet......everything seems to be a dream....everything flowing or flying and am trying to capture it... hold it ...tight and close to my heart

Gud Morning Times Now....Gud Morning NewsX...Gud Morning Datum Tech....Gud Morning XYZ... No these are not jus Companies I worked with ..this is how u get welcomed when u call up a company office...and the person a Receptionist with a smile and happiness in the voice. This is what we visualise when we think of a receptionist and ofcourse a woman and not a man. My office had two GentleMen for this profile for last two yrs and around a month back one was replaced by a Young Lady. Before this never wondered or actually saying never noticed that this profile in our office is having two men. Coming of this Lady made me recall lots of receptionists i met over the years. From taking phone calls, helping out intercom services, chatting of latest designer sarees, suits, home remedies, gossips to being an agony aunts they play a vital role. Writing about this character often remindes me of the lead lady of Imtiaz ali Films. He is always amused and got inspired to create the character of 'Gee...

Syalna...thats the name I have been hearing since my childhood...thats the place where i have my roots. Born and brought up in Delhi i still dnt belong to this place fully. its been 30 yrs since i first saw this world and this is the first time i went to search my roots. If am a pure Delhite then same time i feel alien to the place when every few months i hv this urge to runaway from this city of Djinns and hide smwhere in the mountains. hence am a traveller at heart. And with my limits being a girl, my office and not much of friends around I try to find ways to runaway to my adorable hills...my life. I dnt need think of recharging my mobile....no need of thinking of my computer generated graphics....nothing virtual about this place. Everything is pure...air water and land. From concrete jungles to real green jungles...everything real! Although i hv been travelling quiet often to hills, metros and village is not my first experience...i hv been to my nani's place a lot many times ev...
